First Missionary Baptist Church, 311 W. Church St., Columbia, will hold its annual revival on Feb. 23-27 with services at 7 p.m. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Harold Reynolds, pastor of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Abbeville and Sardis Baptist Church in Headland. All churches and choirs are invited.

New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 1110 Allen Road, Dothan, will celebrate Black History Month with a dinner theater production of “Mahalia” on Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m. “Mahalia” is a two-act gospel play written by Tom Stolz and under the direction of Dr. Denise Stanford-Bowers. Glory to Him Church, 6193 Andrews Ave., Ozark, will be hosting a “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” couple’s conference featuring Dr. Mark and Alison Rutland, on Friday, Feb. 27, 7-10 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 28, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. This event is for couples of all ages and singles contemplating marriage or looking for their perfect mate. Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 5 Piney Grove Church Road, Webb, will hold a service for its family life center, “Men and Women Empowered to Build,” on Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. Guest speaker will be Pastor Pamela Edwards of Bethel AME Church in Hartford.

Parks Chapel AME Church, 1053 Selma St., Dothan, will host a Black History Month musical, Wiregrass Men’s Fest, on Feb. 28 at 6 p.m., presented by the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. The fraternity will also present a Boys 2 Men Summit on Feb. 28 from 9 a.m. to noon at Parks Chapel AME.

First Community Fellowship Church, 400 E. Crawford St., Dothan, will host a gospel celebration on Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. Special guests will be the Alabama Gospel Singers of Dothan, the Spiritual Land Gospel Sings of Dothan and the Spiritual Messengers of Dothan.

The Davis/McLeod District will hold its annual Women’s Conference on Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. at the Memorial Church of God in Christ in New Brockton. Speaker will be Evangelist Carolyn Williams of Enterprise. A “Wacky Fashion Show” will also be held as part of the event.

First Baptist Church of Headland will host “Hunting Wildlife and Finding God” by Larry Moyer on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 6 p.m. Moyer, CEO of the evangelism-training ministry EvanTell, has hosted Wild Game Feasts since 2009. During the feasts, Moyer shares his spiritual journey after the crowd dines on venison, duck, pheasant and wild boar.

Grimes Gospel Lighthouse, 1512 County Road 25, Grimes, will host The Larch Family from Wetumpka at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28. An offering will be taken. Call 334-983-4654.

A Seven Church Revival hosted by Zion Chapel Baptist Church will be held March 1-8 at Zion Chapel, located at 27057 Highway 87 N. in Elba. Services will be at 6 p.m. on March 1, 7 p.m. on March 2-6 and 6 p.m. on March 8. Churches involved include: Mount Zion Baptist Church, Whitewater Baptist Church, Victoria Baptist Church, Hebron Baptist Church, Woodland Grove Baptist Church, and Wise Mill Assembly of God. A nursery will be provided and the Community Choir will sing Sunday-Friday.

Maple Avenue Baptist Church, 1009 W. Maple Ave., Geneva, will host the monthly luncheon of the 39er’s C.L.U.B. (Christians Living Under the Blood) on March 10 at 11 a.m. Reservations needed by March 3. Past attendees should call their table hostess; newcomers should call the church at 334-684-9617. Cost is $5 per person. Speaker will be the Rev. Gary Watson, pastor of The Crossings Church in Geneva. The 39er’s C.L.U.B. is a non-denominational gathering, and the luncheons last an hour.

A gospel sing hosted by the American Legion Auxiliary will be held March 7 at 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center in Abbeville. The sing is a fundraiser for the American Legion Auxiliary, and donations will be taken. The singers are 4-year-old Daylen Brown from Abbeville, Martha Whitrock from Malvern, God’s Way Baptist Church Choir from Eufaula, and Gilmore Trio from Eufaula.

Smithville Road, Dothan, will host “Gospel Explosion” on March 15 at 3 p.m. featuring The Fantastic Violinairs of Detroit, Michigan, as well as The Gospel Travelers of Dothan, Holy Five of Dothan and Holy Ghost Girls of Cottonwood. The gospel fest is sponsored by the Coffee County Alumni Chapter of Alabama State University and the Hosannah Chapter #80 of the Order of Eastern Star. No charge to attend.
