Calvary Baptist Church

The vision for Calvary Baptist Church is to be Biblical in the way we live and think, and to pray without ceasing, worship in spirit and in truth, and give cheerfully. We are also to obey the Lord’s command to ‘go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature’ (Mark 16:15). “Our prayer is that the Lord will use us to that end,” says Pastor Kerry Mitchell.

Established in 1902, Calvary Baptist Church has active RA and GA ministries and Bible Drill for children, youth and high school levels. Calvary’s vibrant youth ministry meets on Wednesday evenings, Sunday School classes are available for all ages and a nursery is provided for all services.

Sound Biblical doctrine is the emphasis of the preaching, and the music is traditional in nature while incorporating contemporary praise and worship songs.
