AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn Public Library invites everyone to a variety of spooktacular activities during the month of October. All events are free and open to the public.
All ages
Posh Pumpkins
Thursday, Oct. 8, 4:30-6 p.m.
Create your very own mini posh pumpkin using the supplies provided. Whatever your style, the possibilities are endless, all without using a carving knife. Free pumpkins and arts and crafts supplies will be provided, and pumpkins will be available on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. Attendees are welcome to bring their own pumpkins and use the decorating supplies provided.

Fridays in October, 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Weekly puppet shows will feature some October fun. Each week will be hosted by a special spooky host with lots of laughter and learning.
Ghoulish Gala featuring the Haunted Library
Tuesday, Oct. 22, 5:30 p.m.
Bring the whole family to the Auburn Public Library for a ghoulishly grand time. Dress up in favorite costumes, register for the costume contest and enjoy music, games, treats and more. For the very brave, go on a guided adventure through the Haunted Library and see if you can solve the mystery afoot.

Teens Create! Ghost Portraits
Saturday, Oct. 17, 2 p.m.
Teens, grades 7-12, are invited to take a break and relax at the library while making DIY body scrubs and more. Registration is required.
Teens Theme Night: Imposter Games

Books To Blockbusters Book Club
Thursday, Oct. 1, 5:30 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 15, 5:30 p.m.

Participants are invited to spend an afternoon chatting with fellow crafters as a movie plays in the background. Tea and light refreshments will be available. Bring your own project or use available supplies.
The Social Stitch
Thursday, Oct. 8 and Thursday, Oct. 29, 5:30 p.m.
Attendees can bring a fiber arts project and spend an hour and a half socializing with fellow crochet, knitting or embroidery enthusiasts.
