Jerry McClenny Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Wood McClenny age 78, of Eufaula were held Monday, Nov. 3, at 10 a.m. at Kent Funeral Home Chapel in Eufaula. The Rev. Randy Stokes officiated and burial followed in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Headland with Kent Funeral Home directing. Mr. McClenny died Saturday, Nov. 1, at Gentiva Hospice in Columbus after a brief illness. Born Aug. 21,1936 in Henry County, Mr. McClenny was the son of the late Woodrow and Lilly Mae Gamble McClenny. He was retired from Alabama Power Company. Mr. McClenny was a member of Gods Way Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Beverly McClenny, Eufaula; three sons, Michael McClenny, Eufaula, Tim (Tammy) McClenny, Villa Rica, GA.; and John Mark (Kim) McClenny, Phenix City; two brothers, James McClenny, Dothan and Charles (Becky) McClenny, Headland; a sister, Nancy (Roger) Henderson, Birmingham; three grandchildren, Ian McClenny, Taylor McClenny and Reid McClenny and two great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephew. Ask to serve as pallbearers were Jason McClenny, Justin McClenny, Jared McClenny, Deal Dykes, Wayne Clark and Sonny Bennett.
