TROY, Ala. – A truly can't-miss afternoon at Veterans Memorial Stadium, Troy's annual Military Appreciation football game will take place on Saturday, Oct. 24, as the Trojans host ULM in a Sun Belt West Division clash.
The military celebration will be the third patriotic-themed home game of the 2026 season. Troy football will celebrate America 250 as part of Kickoff in the Wiregrass against Sam Houston in the season opener on Sept. 5 and then Patriot Day and the 25th Anniversary of 9.11.01 against Alabama State on Sept. 12.
Military Appreciation Day highlights
Representatives of each branch of the military will lead the team on Trojan Walk.
Fans will be able to write messages to military members currently serving overseas at a designated "Thank You For Your Service" tent activation in Tailgate Terrace before the game.

Various in-game recognitions and military tributes, including the annual laying of the wreath ceremony, POW/MIA Chair Changing of the Guard and halftime "Walk of Heroes" military salute, featuring a performance by the Sound of the South.
This year's "Walk of Heroes" will include an oath of enlistment ceremony.
